Our purpose is to ensure that the way we live evolves with us, offering spaces that are as adaptable and dynamic as the people who inhabit them. But more than this, our tiny homes are designed to complement and celebrate the natural beauty of Tasmania, the place we call home.

Our journey is rooted in the desire to make eco-friendly and customisable homes a reality for all.

Can your tiny homes be used as a granny flat?

Yes! Our Tasmanian-designed tiny homes are versatile and can absolutely be used as a granny flat. They’re also perfect for other purposes, like a home office, guest retreat, or backyard studio space. With flexible options and customisable features, your tiny home can be designed to suit your specific needs.

Do I need council approval for a tiny home?

Yes, in most cases, you’ll need council approval before building and placing a tiny home in Tasmania. Requirements can vary between local councils, depending on factors such as your land zoning, the size of your home, and whether it’s on wheels (THOW) or has a fixed foundation. It’s best to check with your local council as early in the process as possible. We can also help guide you through the approval requirements for your area after we have brainstormed your tiny home.

How do I prepare the land for a tiny home?

Your site is one of the most important parts of setting up a tiny home; it even influences the design and layout. The land should be level, and in some cases, a concrete slab might be needed. Don’t worry, though, we’ll go through everything with you to make sure your site is ready and the installation goes smoothly.

Are your tiny homes sustainable?

Yes! Tiny homes are designed with sustainability in mind. They use fewer materials and generate less waste during construction compared to traditional homes. Many of our homes can also feature eco-friendly elements, such as energy-efficient appliances, water-saving systems, and sustainable finishes, allowing you to reduce your environmental footprint while living comfortably.
