Can I design my own modular home?
Absolutely! All our modular homes can be custom-designed and are constructed exactly as you’d like. Our design team will work with you to realise your ideas into a custom-built home.
What are the sizes of YSO modular buildings?
Our building sizes start at 21 sqm (approximately twice the area of an average apartment bedroom). We know that each of our clients has their own requirements for their site, and that this requires complete flexibility in design. We also have prefabricated, already built designs that just plug and play on your specific site.
How much does a modular home cost?
We aim to provide Tasmanians with affordable modular housing. In saying that, the starting price is $28,000 for a 7×3 1 Bedroom including GST.
Are your homes completed to Australian building codes and regulations?
Yes, they are built to meet the Australian Building Code.
How long will it take to build and install my modular home?
Depending on stock, it usually takes around 16 weeks from placing an order to completion.
Can I get finance for my modular home?
Yes, we can provide finance for your purchase.
What is your service area?

Are modular homes prebuilt?
Yes and no. Essentially, modular homes are built in sections according to your needs and preferences, giving you the freedom to customise layouts, finishes, and features. These prebuilt sections are then transported and assembled at your chosen location somewhere in Tasmania.
What are the benefits of modular homes?
Faster Build Times: Since the sections are built in a factory, your home can be completed much quicker than with traditional builds, with fewer delays due to weather or site conditions.
